Childcare:

Childcare will be provided for children 0 - 3rd grade at the Marriott, if requested. Childcare requests need to be made by October 4, 2024; if no one requests childcare by then it will not be available.

Youth Lock-In:

Youth Lock-In is for youth 4th - 8th grade, October 26-27. Youth will overnight at a local church, be involved in activities around the Des Moines area, swim and have fun while building community with one another. $35 fee, registration information to come. Drop off will be at the Marriott from 9-10am on Saturday, October 26. Pick-up will be from 9-9:30am on Sunday, October 27 at the Marriott.

Youth Delegation & Visitors:

9th-12th graders can sign up to be a part of the Youth Delegation at Convention. Youth who are 16+ and confirmed can register to be a delegate at convention meaning they have seat, voice, and vote. They can speak and vote on resolutions to make change in the church they are a part of right now. Youth who are younger can register to be a visitor. They will take part in all of the same activities and learn the processes of convention before being able to be a delegate. All youth will stay at the Marriott and meals will be provided, Friday evening - Sunday morning.
