The Episcopal Church’s General Convention is the bicameral governing body of the Church. It is comprised of the House of Bishops, with upwards of 200 active and retired bishops participating, and the House of Deputies, with clergy and lay deputies elected from the 109 dioceses and three regional areas of the Church, numbering more than 800 members.
This year, the next Presiding Bishop of The Episcopal Church will be elected at General Convention.
Our diocesan delegates will be providing updates throughout their time in Louisville, and we encourage you to follow along on our Facebook page. More information and ways to keep up to date are on our website.
