Digital Signage
Digital signage within your church can serve as a flexible and dynamic announcement board for service times, special announcements, outreach programs, bible study times and other need-to-know information.
There are a number of ways to make a TV screen usable as digital signage for your church:

Micca Speck G2: a tiny media player for playback of all popular photo, music, and video formats up to 1080p.
Some TVs can just load and loop content off a usb stick, but then you have to unload the stick to change content.
Wifi TV: Use a TV that comes with Chromecast or Samsung AllShare Play or MiraCast
Group Texting
GroupMe: Free group messaging, works on every type of device through an app or over SMS.
Remind: Designed originally for teachers to contact parents, but able to be used for churches and other nonprofits.
Flocknote: built specifically for churches - includes email newsletters and text messaging, analytics and more.

WordPress: customizable templates, lots of plug-ins, mobile friendly. Can include custom domain name. You can use a site like MintThemes to customize premium WordPress themes.
Squarespace: Easy to use, customizable and flexible templates for a contemporary, mobile friendly look. This site is built on Squarespace.
Ekklesia360: specializes in church websites.
CloverSites: Specializes in church websites. A large one-time fee and $25 per month includes automatic updates, unlimited storage, pages and media.
Google Sites: Free to use, very limited templates and customization.
